Welcome aboard!

This blog is a continuation of a previous one, part II of Tales of Performing and Pen. To arrive at this blog, simply add II, which translates as ii to the original URL title. Or you can check on blogs I follow on the original blog to find this subtitle.
I am one of the local Yarn Spinners, not a knitting group, but a group of performing storytellers.
The previous blog was simply full of fun and frivolity with prompts from my writers' group manifesting as vignettes.
Memories, poetry, and memoirs with a sprinkle of paranormal pixie dust, also developed as well as bits of advice, such as how to operate as a storyteller, especially while traveling on a ferry boat, (I can't say "on the road" as that happened after getting off the boat, upon calling the taxi and boarding the bus) as well as how to be a proper purchaser of puppets.
I took a couple courses in hand signing, not really knowing why, (except that I played Helen Keller in my teens) and it's been a helpful art to add to the gestures and movements of communicating stories.
So what is this blog's purpose? All of the above. Climb on and enjoy the ride; you might learn something about the storytelling world or just enjoy a few fantastical essays.
