What Goes Together?

I kept offering options, like what do you want for dinner? I kept saying, no, we're out of that and out of that. So finally, he said, "Okay, do we have bacon and eggs?" "Yup." "And hot dogs?" "Yup." "Ok," he said, "bacon and eggs, and hot dogs go together." Well, I never heard of those things "going together", but okay. Then, I added sides of rabbit food and fruit.

After this, I was grateful for the new option of going to Fresh Market, to get what we lacked, for the weekend. They kept yelling out, "Customer(s), get your final purchases", just like Barnes & Noble. Pretty sure I was the only one. After, ALWAYS having to go to Meijer (which used to be called Thrifty Acres, which indeed, acres, it was and still is), it took just 1/2 hour, and I'm outta there!

Picking Stuff Up Day

LaMaze breathing isn't just for childbirth. It extends to picking up grandchildren in another county.Image result for Kid/family Cartoons

Later in the day, Bill decides the last 20 minutes before the Chinese place closes, he wants chop suey, so he calls, and the girl anxiously says, we close at 9....so,10 minute, okay?🎎 Because Chinese food doesn't like me, I stop at Subway, and there's a long line of folks, getting to know each other and telling each other they're glad they met,πŸ—£️ and a kid πŸ‘¦ is instructed on how to pay the cashier...very...slowly, while a guy is making my sandwich, whom I tell NO Jalapenos. πŸŒΆ️ I'm trying to be polite as I pay, and they wish me I nice evening, when I drive in the rain Behind a Slow Moving.....TRUCK (expletives deleted)πŸš›to the Chinese place, and make it in one minute, to get Bill's order. When I get back, Bill has his Chop Suey, and I have my sandwich with...what's that I taste? Jalapenos. πŸŒΆ️ Yup.

Back to the New Neighborhood Grocery

Another late visit to Fresh Market. πŸ‡πŸ₯“ The reason I didn't comment last time I went was because....no comment. But this time, once again, the music was lovely,🎢 grabbing meatsπŸ— also meant a whiff of whatever spicey, barbecuey aroma, I couldn't identify, but could breathe in forever. Same with getting deli cheese, too.πŸ§€ The staff was welcoming and accommodating, even out in the parking lot, "You got everything, darlin'?" Love that Cockney dialect, as my cart was carted away, and not by me. Could even take a couple deli meals home, and this time, finally got blueberries, that I succeeded in obtaining and not dropping.

About Annie and Annie Jr.

I Went  to a play with my  Daughter and Gran-daughters at the School of the Arts where the first one already attends.  I thought to myself, of course, I've heard of this play, but I don't think I've seen it...Then, it occurred to me... Seen it?  I reviewed it!   It was back in the day when Cherrry County moved to Muskegon County to utilize the Frauenthal Theatre.  But when I took a look at how it was played out then, it was...Different.  Then, I looked at the bulletin, and it WAS, in fact, Different.  This play was Annie Jr., apparently adapted for a younger set of players.  I did not review this one, but here's what I observed back then. Note that I did not want to reveal the entire plot before viewing it.

Taking Care of Yourself in Spite of it All

I love to wake up in the morning naturally, stretch and smile, then, remember...I'm 300 years old...πŸ§™‍♀️How did that happen?
Look forward to a busy day, so I have coffee and half breakfast with no vitamins, to go pick up a grandaughter,πŸ‘§ and run into....construction, πŸšœon the way. Still, I manage to arrive on time, to get her safely in her car seat. She talks on the way, and I say, really? I don't catch all her words, until she says, "Grandma, you're driving really slow",πŸš— so I tell her it's to get her home safely. She thinks that's a good idea. I s
pend a little time with my first grandaughter, dressed up pretty for picture daycall my husband, and he wants me to go to WalMart for two things, so on the way, I ask God if I should go to WalMart or Meijer, and He says, WalMart, to get the two things, so I don't get distracted with groceries. I go home to have more coffee, and at least, a vitamin for memory, an amino acid drink, πŸ΅with fish oil. I find out, I can go to Yoga, πŸ§˜‍♀️after all, and when I get there, it's packed like...sardines. So, I park my mat in the entrance.Good place, in case, I float away.  Finally, get groceries, go home, take more vitamins, have teaπŸ₯ƒ and watch news, while Chef Bill fixes the TV dinners, balanced by peas and watermelon slices. Then, I take the remaining vitamins...which just goes to show you, even on busy days, you can do right by yourself, if you put your mind to it.
